Weddings in Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua is one of the simplest Caribbean islands on which to tie the knot. There is no waiting time, so you could fly in and get married that same afternoon. On weekdays, bring your paperwork (proof of citizenship and, if applicable, a certified divorce decree or death certificate of previous spouse) to the Ministry of Justice in St. John's, sign a declaration before the Marriage Coordinator and pay the $150 license fee. The Coordinator makes arrangements for aMarriage Officer to performthe civil ceremony. TheMarriage Officer is also paid $50; payments can be made in US dollars. Those staying on Barbuda will need to take care of the paperwork on Antigua.

Antigua & Barbuda Travel Information
When to Go
Just about anytime of the year means pleasant weather. The hottest months are during summer, when diminished trade winds make the temperatures seem even hotter. Prices vary throughout Antigua and Barbuda by season, as in the rest of the Caribbean. Here, however, high season extends through April to include the immensely popular SailingWeek. Look for accommodation prices to fall in early May and remain low through mid-December.
